Sonja has been whipping up marvellous food since 1994 in Australia, London & Italy or wherever the food takes her, catering to royalty, nobility, celebrities, businesses and private clients. Cape Town & The Larder became her home since 2011 and she has continues to produce gorgeous food in her cafe's as well as catering to the Cape Town set.

Her food is always presented with spectacular passion, being a ex-textile designer and food stylist she plates her food as if she were tackling a painting. Menu’s are bespoke, created perfectly to suit your event and wishes, making them stylish, relaxed & effortless. Our chefs & service teams are passionate, dynamic and love food & your happiness more than life itself! Need a venue?

Like a big or little bash at one of our café's? We host food & wine pairing evenings, birthday parties, kitchen tea's, champagne & canape' corporate evenings, team building and good old plain fun get togethers. Our Claremont branch now sports a liquor licence, so you can enjoy a tipple of your choice on the stoep too. How divine right?
